The third industrial revolution, or digital revolution, has fundamentally changed the way the world works. Our economies and supply chains are global, we can communicate across the world in an instant, and have access to more resources and information than ever before. Jobs are now virtual, employees are expected to know a wide variety of skills, and it’s easier than ever to start a virtual business or eCommerce store. Education improves with each generation, and societal progress is dependent on it.
Preparing children for life
Craig believes that our public education system should be preparing our children for the real world. No longer are the fundamentals simply ABCs and 123s. In addition to comprehension in the state-required curriculums, he will advocate for financial literacy training, comprehensive technology programs including coding and development, teaching communication, global studies, critical thinking skills, life skills, and much more.
Our kids are entering an ever-evolving world. Craig understands the importance of ensuring that the knowledge our community’s children are learning and retaining matches up with the expectations of the real world.
